Matt Pearson

BIO: Matt Pearson has been the Engineering Specialist for the Office of Indiana State Chemist since 1996. He has a degree in Agricultural Engineering from Purdue University. His main responsibilities include working with agrichemical dealers and growers to assist with compliance issues concerning the storage and handling of fertilizers and pesticides. He also works with other regulatory agencies and risk coordinators on storm water and other environmental issues. Prior to working with the Office of Indiana State Chemist, Matt was a sales engineer for a company specializing in synthetic liners for fertilizer secondary containment. He grew up on a small grain and livestock farm in east central Indiana.
