Can Biologicals Substitute for Fertilizer Nutrients?

Crops need sufficient nutrients and there are few, if any, shortcuts to provide those nutrients. Nitrogen fixation whether to produce fertilizer or provide N to a plant could arguably be considered the most energy intensive process known to humans. This session will cover information including non-rhizobial N fixing organisms, recent regional data and considerations when using these products, and influential factors that may influence the N-fixation process.
