The 2026 CVD will take place on February 24 and 25. As a participant in CVD, you will learn advocacy and communication skills, gain first-hand experience engaging with elected officials, and develop strong network connections with other professionals.  Participants will learn about the federal funding process and how to meet with Congressional offices with a full day of in-person training and presentations from expert speakers.  All functions and Congressional Visits will be scheduled and planned by the policy/government relations staff at the Societies.  The CCA just needs to commit to attending and plan their travel.
